Overview of Education loan for Minority Students 

Under this scheme, religious minority students who are desirous for pursuing professional courses like Medical, Engineering, Dental, Master Degree Courses, Diploma Courses, Nursing, B. Ed, BBM, BCA, D.Ed, D-pharmacy, Pharmacy-D and ITI are provided financial assistance ranging from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.75,000/- per year till the completion of the course.

Education loan for Minority Students Under ARIVU Scheme
FRESHERs: Religious minority students who are desirous for pursuing professional courses like Medical(Max:Rs.2.00lakhs),Engineering, Dental &other courses(Max; rs.30,000/-) selected through CET/NEET only can apply for Loan Assistance from 2020-21.
RENEWALs: Eligible students of Medical, Engineering, Dental courses Master Degree courses, Diploma courses, Nursing, B.Ed, BBM, BCA, D.Ed, D-Pharma, Pharmacy-D and ITI who have already availed Loans in previous years & secured 65% marks in previous exam/semester can only apply for RENEWAL. For More Details visit http://kmdc.karnataka.gov.in

ARIVU (EDUCATION LOAN) SCHEME FOR CET STUDENTS

As per government order No.MWD/03/MDC/201, Bangalore dated 17.01.2014, the Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation Ltd., (KMDC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Karnataka Examination Authority, Bangalore. Accordingly, applications as per the prescribed format issued under KEA Brochure, are invited from the candidates belonging to religious minorities viz., Muslim, Christian, Jain, Building, Buddhist, Sikh, and Parsi communities who are appearing for Common Entrance Test (CET) which will be conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for various Professional Courses, for sanction of education loan from the Corporation under its 'ARIVU' (Education Loan) Scheme as per the fee prescribed by the KEA/Government of Karnataka.

Loan Renewal

The Candidates who have appeared for CET and applied for loan renewal for the next academic year, under 'Arivu' (Education Loan) The scheme, are requested to contact the concerned District Office for further details.
B. Documents to be submitted at the time of the release of the loan (Format on the website) a. Indemnity Bond on Rs. 50/- paper along with 2 passport size photographs of Parents/Husband/Guardian.
 Under the Arivu scheme, students from religious minority groups, who want to pursue professional courses, master’s degree, nursing, B.Ed, and other courses are provided loans ranging between 10,000 and 75,000 per year till completion of the course.

  1.             Visit the official website @ http://kmdc.karnataka.gov.in
  2.     Find Arivu Loan Scheme and Read the Guidelines and Eligibility and courses properly and apply.
  3.   Official Link to Apply https://kmdc.kar.nic.in/arivu2/Login.aspx
  4.   Click on the Apply Online link In CET/NEET.
  5.   If General Click On the General Option.
  6.   If Renewal Click on the Renewal Option.
  7.   Fill the application form in the prescribed manner.
  8.   Make sure to recheck so that there are no errors.
  9.   Upload the Documents Which Are Mentioned Above.
  10. Submit the application and take a print out of the file for further reference.
